Assalaamu alaykum wa rahmatu Allahi wa barakaatuhu,

The crescent moon to commence the month of Shawwal was NOT sighted in Haramain (Makkah and Madina). Further to this, the moon is not sighted anywhere in the eastern corridor of the United States therefore as per HCC policy it has been decided unanimously that we will complete 30 days of Ramadhan In Sha Allah. Accordingly, Eid ul Fitr will be celebrated on Thursday, May 13, 2021 (1st of Shawwal 1442h).

Eid Mubarak to you and your family! May Allah SWT make this Eid a blessed one for our community, Muslim ummah, and the entire humankind. On this holy and joyous occasion may the blessings of almighty Allah come down on your shoulders and may you enjoy a very Happy Eid this year and in the years to come.
