Ramadan Mubarak! Starts From Thursday May 17th 2018

Ramadan Mubarak, Ramadan Kareem to all.

The moon of Ramadan was not sighted locally and in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Therefore, Hijri Calendar Committee has decided to complete 30 days of Shaban and accordingly Thursday, May 17, 2018, will be the first of Ramadan 1439h. 

May Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala enable us to take benefit of this blessed month.

Fajr –
   4:30 AM
Zuhr – 1:15 PM
Asr    –  6:30 PM
Maghreb – 10 Mins after Sunset
Isha – 10:00 PM

Taraveeh Prayers
Inshallah Hafiz Shahid Shaikh and Mufti Bilal will be leading Taraveeh prayers this year

Iftar
We will have community Iftars all 7 days a week during Ramadan. MCNJ will arrange for these meals with community sponsorship. Please contact Br. Shahzeb, Br. Najeeb for sponsoring iftar.

BabySitting
Insha’Allah we will arrange baby sitting free of cost for children between the ages of 2-10.

Zakah & Fitrah

  • Please give your Fitrah & Zakah as early as possible during Ramadan
  • Fitrah is a minimum of $10 per person and it should be given for every member of the family.

Parking

  • The parking at MCNJ will be reserved for older, women and children on first come first basis.
  • If you are coming via I-287 or Rt1, park at 629 Amboy Ave (Previously known as Cyktor) Building lot on Walsh Avenue (Behind the building)
  • Musallees praying 8 rakat’s of Taraweeh, please park at lots other than MCNJ
  • Note: Please do not park in 7-Eleven parking 

We look forward to seeing all of you at the Masjid and getting to meet all of you personally. Please join us in our daily Iftar at the masjid and Taraweeh prayers.

Jumuah Time Change From Jan 12th 2018

Insha Allah beginning Friday, January 12th, first Jumuah khutbah will be 12:45 PM and Iqamah will be 1:10 PM.

There will be no changes in 2nd Jumuah salah.

General Body Meeting And Shura Elections 2017

Assalaam Alaikum Warahmatullah Wa Barkatahu,

Insha’Allah the Muslim Community of New Jersey will hold its 3rd quarter General Body meeting and Shura Election at MCNJ Masjid Bab-al-Rahmah in Fords, NJ on SaturdayNovember 18th 2017 between Maghrib 5:00 PM and Isha 7:00 PM.

All paid MCNJ members for the past one year or longer are eligible to stand in the election, nominate a candidate and vote for a candidate.
The agenda for the meeting is as follows:

  • Recitation of Qu’ran
  • President’s Welcome and Address
  • Finance Update
  • General Discussion/Q&A session
  • Election Polling will continue between Maghrib & Isha
  • Isha Salah
  • Polling Results Announced

Eligibility Criteria: 

  • Nomination need to be made by 1 registered member
  • Should be current registered member since September 2016
  • Nomination forms are available upon request from Br. Ilyas & Br .Najeeb

MCNJ invites everyone to Eid-Ul-Adha Block party on Saturday,  9th September from  (1:00 to 5:00 pm)  for a afternoon of fun and food to celebrate Eid-Ul-Adha.

  • Bring your own prayer mats
  • Please come with wadhu
  • Follow instructions by Park Rangers & Volunteers
  • Bring chairs if needed
  • Car pool to reduce traffic
  • Donate generously to cover expenses.

Eid-ul-Adha on Friday Sept 1st, Eid Mubarak!

Assalaamu alaykum wa rahmatu Allahi wa barakaatuhu,

High Judicial Council of Saudi Arabia declared that Dhul-Qidah completes 30 days and Dhul Hijjah will start tomorrow Wednesday August 23Day of Arafah (9th Dhul Hajj) will be on Thursday August 31st and Eid-ul-Adha (10th Dhul Hajj) will be celebrated on Friday September 1st, 2017 Insha’Allah.

May Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala accept Hajj from those who will be performing it this year and accept all their prayers. Ameen!
