MCNJ Condemns the Terrorist Attack in Orlando

On behalf of the Muslims Community of New Jersey (MCNJ), we would like to express our profound shock, sorrow, and condemnation of the murder of 50 innocent people and injuring of another 53 victims in Orlando, Florida. Our thoughts, prayers, and condolences are with the families of the deceased and the injured.

MCNJ wish to offer heartfelt condolences for the victims and their families whose loved ones have been taken so tragically. This individual does not represent Islam or Muslims in any sense. We as American Muslims condemn this worst act of mass murder in U.S. history in the strongest possible terms.

As the Qur’an states, “Whoever kills a person, it is as though he has killed all mankind. And whoever saves a life, it is as though he had saved all mankind.” (Qur’an 5:32)

We reject the hate and anger that leads to this kind of acts of violence.

As Americans, we reiterate our commitment to peace, safety, and security of our nation, as well as our solidarity with fellow Americans. We pray for the safety and security for all Americans.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Ozair Omazai President MCNJ [email protected]
